- Plant container roses
- Fertilize roses (final application for the season)
- Apply supplemental liquid fertilizer (final application for the season)
- Weed rose beds; apply pre-emergent herbicide
- Continue regular spraying for insect pests and diseases
- Water as needed (roses need 1 inch per week)
- Disbud for larger flowers if desired
- Deadhead faded flowers to promote re-bloom
